Living Amongst The Trees
Space: Kube Hus
Designer: Terje Moa
Living Amongst The Trees is based on Terje Moa's adopted ideology of habitation. Through his experience building the Kube Hus, he better understood the relationship between inside and outside and how one transforms into the other.
Mo states the three-piece realm that often influences his designs.
The first realm is the earth, the soil we mark, and the foundations we inhabit. The second is where people live. From a perspective, we live and breathe daily. The third is the heavens, which may be seen from above or amongst the treetops.
"Wayfinding the path left by the hands that build.
Navigating a space that already exists.
An echo left behind.
Just as the bones remain."
